About the Event
Contrary to how it looks on TV and Instagram, meditation is NOT always easy. In fact, it's a challenge for most of us. Training the mind and body to remain focused and calm for any length of time requires preparation and skill. And that "comfortable cross-legged seat" is not always an option, especially if you have knee, back, or hip pain. In this workshop, you'll become more comfortable and confident with meditation by finally finding a seated position that works. Learn the principles of (and reasons for) seated meditation, and how to support your physical body so that you can access deeper layers of insight and relaxation.
