Writing From a Fresh Start

Do you have the glimmer of a story idea, an experience that haunts you, an heirloom with an intriguing history, or simply the desire to get started? This writing workshop is organized around generating new work, even (and especially) when you’re not sure what you’re going to say. Working from creative, in-class prompts and readings, we’ll explore how writers find their way in and hold the course to develop a story or memoir. All experience levels are welcome. Be prepared to write in class and participate in supportive, encouraging discussions.
